We offer prayer strategies for you to pray along with us on a regular basis. We know that prayer continues to go out at all times, and in all locations around the world. It is our hope that there are many prayer furnaces are happening everywhere, in churches, homes, school campuses, coffee shops, parks and every place possible. Simple Prayer Strategy
Our most simple prayer strategy is one that you may have heard of before. It is called the 7 Spheres of Culture, also known as the 7 Mountains of Influence, or the 7 Mountain Mandate. This is not a new message but we do believe it to be an efficient prayer strategy that breaks our society into simple categories that need our prayer as well as our action and influence (Matthew 28:16-20, Mark 16:14-20).

These 7 spheres really are our greatest mission field. We use this strategy as a simple method to pray over our city, region, nation and the world. It is also our desire to raise up missionaries to enter into those strategic mission fields to walk out the mandate to take dominion that was first given in Genesis. Prayer is only a part of the whole picture. Our strategy is prayer as well as action. We activate people through discipleship, as well as train through our equipping center which offers a school of ministry as well as training seminars. We do two things; equipping & empowering in order to release agents of change into culture. They change culture through prayer as well as service in every sphere daily.

History of the 7 Spheres of Culture

In 1975, Bill Bright, founder of Campus Crusade, and Loren Cunningham, founder of Youth With a Mission, had lunch together in Colorado. God simultaneously gave each of these men a message to give to the other. That message was that if we are to impact the nations for Jesus Christ, then we would have to affect the seven spheres, or mountains of society that are the pillars of any society. There are a few variations of these spheres with different terminology, but they are basically the same. These seven mountains are:


Family

Religion

Education

Government

Business or Economy

Media

Arts & Entertainment or Celebration/Arts
