Worship & Prayer

In our prayer meetings we use a model of prayer and worship called Harp & Bowl.

Harp & Bowl: A term derived from Revelation 5:8, describing the elders before the throne with harps (representing worship with music) and a bowl of incense (representing the prayers of God’s people). It is the basic model of our prayer meetings, combining worship (led by worship teams) and prayer (both personal and corporate). We use two harp and bowl formats: worship with the Word and intercessory worship.

Some of you may be familiar with a term called Prophetic Worship. Prophetic Worship is proclaiming the heart of God in the form of praise and worship and that is very much at the heart of what we do. We declare the goodness of God through song.

Worship  & the Arts

We believe worship and prayer can take many forms. We believe that the arts have a role in worship and prayer, just like in the book of Exodus. You are welcome to come to the house of prayer and worship through forms other than instruments and singing, such as painting, drawing, writing, crafted prayers, and poetry, etc. You can bring your own art supplies and occasionally we have art supplies available for people to use, it we do not just ask us.
